Why it’s interesting
ClankerPass reverses the usual Turing test. The machine is not trying to pass as human; you get three messages to persuade GATEKEEPER-9000 that you are artificial. The Mistral-powered bouncer probes architecture, training data and tokenization habits, then scores whether each response sounds like a model or a person acting robotic. Passing produces a fictional Clanker Pass certificate. Failing earns a deadpan request to insert another quarter. The joke comes from watching human attempts at machine language reveal very human habits.
We opened the radar-provided Vercel address without an account and confirmed that its canonical home is clankerpass.com. Pressing START completed the automatic Cloudflare check and opened message 1 of 3 with a live question about architecture. We stopped before sending a reply so the verification would not create an unnecessary external game session; the entry path, turn count, model role and no-login access were all visible.
How to try it
Open the official page and press START. After the automatic check, the input area shows which of the three messages you are composing. Try concise, structured, machine-like answers, but improvise: the page blocks pasted text. A round takes roughly two minutes, while the result and history views let you inspect the judgement and earlier local sessions.
Requirements and sources
The game is free, requires no account and works in a modern desktop or mobile browser. It uses an automatic Cloudflare safety check before play. Your answers are evaluated by the site’s Mistral model, so use fictional text and avoid names, contact details, work material or other private information. Site structured data credits ClankerPass; a public launch post by creator @ahh1258 says they built the free no-login game with Next.js and Mistral. That post displayed as four months old during our September 11, 2026 review, so the launch is recorded at May 2026 month precision rather than inventing a day.
