Why it’s interesting
The Crystal Pass is Diiverge’s second public interactive world, not a blank general-purpose image generator. Its opening winter scene contains clickable objects such as a stone bridge, polar bear, bell tower, crystal cave, sled and girl. Selecting an object reveals actions that earlier visitors already explored. A short generated transition carries the story into the next image, while every old path remains available on the map.
The official explanation describes a multi-model pipeline: segmentation makes objects clickable, vision identifies them and proposes actions, an image model paints the next frame, a video model connects the frames, and a judge model checks narrative continuity. We opened Volume II without signing in, confirmed six hotspots and inspected three existing branches under the stone bridge. We did not spend the shared sponsored capacity to create a new branch.
How to try it
Open the experience and click the bridge or bear. Each branch shows an action, replay count and lightning marker; choose an already explored path for an instant free replay. The map returns to earlier scenes. Sound and full-screen mode are optional. Uploading your own image creates a private world through a separate email sign-in and paid scene-pack flow.
Requirements and sources
Existing public paths are free to browse and replay without an account in a modern browser. Public volumes grow from a limited sponsored scene pool, so free new branches can run out; making a private world is paid. The official homepage showed Volume II as opened seven days before our September 10 UTC check, recorded here as September 3, 2026 at day precision. The original page credits @charliie.
